UNIVERSAL CITY, CA (December 11, 2018) – NBC4 / KNBC, NBC Bay Area / KNTV, and NBC 7 / KNSD today announced their new, live 30-minute lifestyle show, “California Live,” which will air Monday to Friday beginning Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. (PST) across all three stations. The new show will feature the latest in beauty and fashion, the best in local hot spots, a daily dose of entertainment news, consumer-friendly technology trends, and must-visit destinations in Northern and Southern California.
“California Live will reveal the top places to eat, play and relax so viewers can embrace the best California has to offer,” said Steve Carlston, President and General Manager of NBC4. “The show will introduce viewers to newsmakers, celebrities and people who make our state great.”
Covering the best from the Bay Area to the border, co-hosts Danielle Nottingham and Jessica Vilchis will take viewers on thrilling adventures, what’s new from Silicon Valley, the beauty of wine country, Hollywood’s latest news, and see why San Diego is coined “America’s Finest City” and more. “California Live” will also provide local insertion opportunities for advertisers to air in all three markets or in one of the individual markets.
“California Live” will also feature journalists and experts participating as correspondents, including HLN’s Dr. Drew Show panelist, Danielle Robay; parenting expert Donna Tetreault; Vicki Johnson of NASCAR Nation; and former American Idol’s contestant, Kimberly Caldwell-Harvey, who will lead the show’s “Knock-Knock” segments surprising viewers up and down the state for their good deeds.
Upcoming episodes will give Bay Area audiences a closer look at one of the most famous wine regions in the world, with over 1,000 local wineries and some of the greatest wines ever produced. From the home of Silicon Valley, the show will also feature the latest technology innovations that make everyday life easier.
Regional segments will explore San Diego’s coastline to the foothills, desert and mountains of East County, making it home to the ultimate outdoor lifestyle year-round. It will also take you from the farms in the north to the southern border and everywhere in between to discover colorful neighborhoods with booming arts, culture and culinary scenes.
Produced by KNBC from the station’s studios in Universal City, viewers will be able to watch “California Live” across all three stations’ on-air, digital and mobile platforms. The show’s Executive Producer John Johnston, brings three-decades of television investigative and entertainment experience, including the production of national documentaries. Stephanie Stout has a bachelor’s degree in business accounting from the University of Phoenix and worked for an insurance broker before the couple’s first child was born; she then devoted herself full-time to raising their three children, who are now in high school.

On September 7th, the Inland Empire Regional Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Riverside Convention Center and the NFL Alumni Association of Southern California, successfully hosted their much-anticipated annual event, the “Sunset Soirée.” The event was proudly presented by isolved, a leading company dedicated to transforming the future of work through a unique blend of software and services tailored for payroll, benefits, and HR professionals.
Over 200 esteemed guests graced the occasion, immersing themselves in an evening filled with business networking, summer festivities, and the promise of forging meaningful connections. The event was graced by a lineup of notable speakers, including Dave Allen, West Region President for NASCAR, James Washington, President of the NFL Alumni Southern California Chapter, Michael K. Krouse, President & CEO of the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, Nikki Gatch, CEO of the Southern California PGA, Mike Burrows, CEO of the San Bernardino International Airport, and Edward Ornelas, Jr., President of the Inland Empire Regional Chamber of Commerce.
