The downtown Riverside restaurant will create nearly 150 jobs and accommodate more than 275 guests across its dining room, private-event spaces and outdoor patio.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will expand its Southern California presence this November with the opening of its first Riverside location.

The new restaurant, located at 3777 Mission Inn Avenue near the historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, will bring Fleming’s signature steaks, international wine collection and upscale dining experience to downtown Riverside. It will become the company’s 14th California restaurant and is expected to create nearly 150 local jobs.

Spanning approximately 8,751 square feet, Fleming’s Riverside will accommodate more than 275 guests. The restaurant will include a main dining room, three private dining spaces and a large outdoor patio.

The variety of spaces will allow the restaurant to accommodate intimate dinners, social gatherings, business meetings, corporate functions and larger celebrations. Guests will also be able to reserve the restaurant’s Chef’s Table for a more personalized dining experience.

“It’s important that we tailor our offerings to each of our communities while staying true to what Fleming’s is known for,” said Dewayne Glass, operating partner of Fleming’s Riverside. “With wine country right here in our backyard in Southern California, we’re eager to welcome guests with an experience that complements the menu and feels connected to the region.”

Glass will lead the Riverside restaurant alongside Chef Partner Ryan Wong. Together, they will oversee the guest experience, culinary program and daily operations.

Wong has been with Fleming’s for nearly 10 years and is known within the company for bringing consistency, creativity and bold flavor to his cuisine.

The Riverside menu will feature Fleming’s signature prime steaks along with specialty offerings such as caviar service and A5 Japanese Wagyu. Wong will also develop a selection of chef specialties for the new location.

Beyond its traditional dinner service, the restaurant will offer a nightly Social Hour and specialty coursed menus on Sundays and Tuesdays. Its wine program will feature selections sourced from prominent producers around the world, complementing the restaurant’s steak, seafood and specialty dishes.

The opening will add another nationally recognized restaurant brand to downtown Riverside, which continues to develop as a regional destination for dining, hospitality, arts and entertainment. Its location near the Mission Inn is expected to attract business travelers, visitors, local professionals and organizations seeking private dining accommodations.

The nearly 150 jobs associated with the opening will also contribute to Riverside’s hospitality workforce and the continued economic activity surrounding the downtown district.

Fleming’s was founded in Newport Beach in 1998 by Paul Fleming and Bill Allen. The founders envisioned a contemporary steakhouse that moved beyond the conventions traditionally associated with the category.

The company has since expanded to more than 60 locations nationwide, offering prime steaks, seafood, wine and private-dining experiences.

Fleming’s Riverside is scheduled to open in November 2026. Guests can register for opening announcements, exclusive invitations and restaurant news at Fleming’s Riverside Coming Soon.
